They’re part of the landscape, part of our everyday life, and, more often than not, some of the most memorable faces our guests meet while they’re here.
Clover (Clovies)
The sassiest lady who started our little highland crew alongside Bramble. Clover is equal parts sweet, sassy, and impossible not to love.

Olive is the equivalent to a giant teddy bear. He has perfected the art of making sure he’s noticed and given good neck scratches.
Honey (Miele)
The newest little lady in our highland crew, and every bit as sweet as her name. That tiny face won’t take long to win you over.

Our fluffy white gentleman and Honey’s partner in crime. Huck is one of the newest faces at the ranch and loves the attention.

One half of our beloved Pitter & Patter duo. Tiny, woolly, and equipped with ears we may never get over. Wait until you hear their little hooves walking down the paver pathways towards your cocktail hour.

Born Easter morning of 2026, Shepherd has won all our hearts over with his mischievous side-eye glances and his big heart.

Fable
With his storybook looks and impossibly fluffy fleece, Fable seems especially well named. He will melt your heart with his sweet kisses and need for love and attention.

The Herd
The heart of the working-ranch side of Lazy Stud Ranch. Our Angus cattle are a reminder that beneath the weddings, dinners, flowers, and gatherings, this is still very much a living, working piece of Colorado ranch land.

Thousands of tiny residents doing some of the most important work on the ranch. Our Italian honeybees help pollinate the flowers, gardens, fruit trees, and everything growing around them. Their honey can be used for event drinks, curated cheeseboards, or wedding guest favors to take home a piece of the ranch with you.

Toy Australian ShepherdTiny but mighty, Mila may be the smallest of the ranch-dog crew, and oldest, but she certainly doesn’t know it.

Our handsome husky and one of the longtime members of the ranch crew. He loves to help guide tours for the price of a snack.

One of the familiar faces behind the scenes of everyday ranch life. You’ll usually catch her riding around in the cart, helping us perform day-to-day tasks.

Part dog, part bear - or at least that’s what we’ve always thought. Koda is our big, fluffy gentle giant of the bunch.

Millie is the jack of all trades. She helps with the irrigation systems, tests the pond temperatures while teaching the fish how to properly swim, and making sure the bunnies are too scared to interrupt your big day.
